Adding a mouse or a keyboard to the groov EPIC processor using the USB ports lets you click around the processor’s touchscreen like you click around on a computer screen.
To add a mouse:
Note: Before you add a mouse or keyboard, enable the Show Mouse Pointer option (previous lesson) so you can easily see the mouse pointer on the touchscreen when you move the mouse.
1. Plug your mouse into either USB 0 or USB 1 and wait a few seconds for the processor to connect to the mouse.
2. Move the mouse and verify that the pointer on the display is responding.
To add a keyboard:
Plug your keyboard into an available USB port. Wherever you can enter data, you can now type it in with your keyboard.
